My professional life started at 15 as a hospital intern. By 18, I was a CNA working weekends, nights, and holidays to get through nursing school. I eventually spent the bulk of my 15-year career in the Operating Room, where precision is the only option. That environment required me to develop a straightforward, direct approach to navigating high-pressure situations
while keeping my focus entirely on the safety and protection of those I represented. I learned early on that thorough documentation and unwavering advocacy are the only ways to ensure a successful long-term outcome.
Southern Maryland has been my home for over three decades. As a Navy wife and a mom of three, I’ve lived the reality of military life firsthand. When we bought our home, our builder was great, but I realized our agent could have provided so much more education on the what and the why of the process. I originally got my real estate license as a side gig to help people understand the things I wish I’d known more about.
Eventually, nursing became more about institutional profit and less about actually taking care of people the right way. I decided to step away from my role as a nurse manager to be present for my family and to advocate for people who need an agent who cares about more than a paycheck. Today, I use my 30+ years of local knowledge and my background in high-stakes advocacy to ensure my clients have a partner who values transparency and education above everything else.
